Their relationship was meant to be physical only – a friends with benefits type of thing. But, Toudou had noticed, the boundaries they’d set in place were coming loose.
What has started out as enthusiastic, semi-rough sex between teammates had evolved into something more tender. They still had their frantic moments but more often than not they took their time, explored each other properly with an intense desire to please the other.
Of course the change hadn’t happened overnight, no. It had been gradual.
It was Arakita’s fault really, Toudou would argue (to no one in particular). Arakita who was surprisingly gentle when pulling Toudou to his feet after a full-on training session. Arakita who, without a second thought, offered half his lunch to Toudou when he’d forgotten his. Arakita whose face lit up whenever Toudou would praise his cycling in the slightest.
All in all, Arakita was making Toudou a very confused man. They’d been strict with the “no feelings allowed” agreement they’d settled on prior to their sexual engagements, but Toudou couldn’t help but wonder if maybe feelings wouldn’t be so bad after all.
Toudou needed to talk to Arakita, and he would. Not right now, though. Now he needed to sleep, no matter how much these midnight thoughts consumed him.
