All the swordsman had wanted to do was sleep – and he’d almost succeeded, but the crew were loud tonight, partying on the deck celebrating Halloween. He rolled over, trying to get himself in a comfier position, a position that would prevail in blocking out the noise. An unsuccessful approach, it seemed.

He heard the cabin door squeak open, not allowing the income of light irritate him enough to stir a reaction. Just ignore it, it’s probably Chopper, he thought, reasoning that no other crew member would be courteous enough to enter the cabin so quietly. He tensed, though, when he felt a cloth-like material gently brush his shoulder.

“Ooooo Zoro,” an attempt at a spooky voice spoke.

The swordsman relaxed when he heard that familiar voice, a familiar voice failing in its attempt to scare him. He didn’t bother turning around. “Oi, Luffy, you don’t sound very scary.”

Luffy, annoyed by Zoro’s negativity, jumped on the bed, pushing the swordsman onto his back to straddle his hips. “I do so, Zoro!”

Zoro’s eyes widened in amusement and he let a chuckle escape his lips. His captain was completely cloaked in a white sheet. He would remark that Luffy looked ridiculous if he could actually see the other – but he was just an abundance of white.

“Captain,” he said teasingly, as he proceeded to lift the sheet up over his captain’s head, “I prefer you like this.” Luffy grinned as he felt Zoro’s lips gently trail kisses over his bare chest.

“But Zoro, it’s Halloween!” Luffy whispered enthusiastically, “you have to dress up too!” And with ease he threw the white sheet over the both of them.

Zoro chuckled before eagerly claiming the other’s lips in a passionate kiss. “Idiot.”
