Luffy couldn\u2019t remember the last time he\u2019d been so cold. They had just left an island with a warm and humid climate but for whatever reason \u2014 the New World was unpredictable \u2014 they had sailed into freezing cold temperatures. Franky and Chopper were working overtime to ensure that the Sunny was withstanding the sudden change in weather. The rest of the crew had layered up their clothes, with blankets draped over too, and were huddled together in the kitchen for warmth. Sanji had made everyone hot chocolates to sip.<\/p>\n
Luffy flexed his fingers, they were getting stiff with the cold despite wearing gloves. He wrapped them around his mug of hot chocolate and savoured the warmth that spread through his hands.<\/p>\n
\u201cHow long until we get somewhere warm?\u201d Luffy whined. He was cold, but also bored. There wasn\u2019t much to do when confined inside.<\/p>\n
Nami rolled her eyes. \u201cI told you already. It could be a few days,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I\u2019m bored,\u201d Luffy moaned. He turned to Zoro who was seated next to him. \u201cAren\u2019t you bored, Zoro?\u201d<\/p>\n
Zoro shrugged. \u201cPretty tired actually.\u201d He opened up his arm, inviting Luffy to share his blanket. Luffy inched closer and made himself comfortable curled into Zoro..<\/p>\n
\u201cHow are you so warm?\u201d Luffy said, as Zoro\u2019s body heat slowly spread to him. He was reminded of the early days of sailing with Zoro \u2014 when it had just been the two of them. He\u2019d asked the same question back then. Zoro had just shrugged.<\/p>\n
\u201cJust am, I guess,\u201d Zoro said.<\/p>\n
Luffy smiled and shut his eyes. He was warm and comfortable. He could be bored later, but for now a nap sounded like a great idea.<\/p>\n
Sanji chuckled. \u201cThat\u2019s one way to stop him complaining.\u201d<\/p>\n
